What is KanoonPe?
KanoonPe is an online legal-services platform that helps Indian businesses with company registration, GST, trademarks, licenses and ongoing compliance. The regulated work is performed by verified, empanelled Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries and lawyers, while KanoonPe makes the whole experience transparent, fixed-price and trackable.
Is KanoonPe a law firm or a CA firm?
No. KanoonPe is a technology and facilitation platform, not a law firm or CA firm, and it does not practise law or represent clients in court. We connect you with independent, verified professionals who perform the regulated work, and we manage the experience around your filing — pricing, accountability and live tracking.
How does KanoonPe work?
You pick a service and package with a clear all-inclusive price, share your details and documents securely, and a verified expert is assigned to draft and file with the relevant authority. You then track every stage live from your dashboard until your certificates and deliverables are ready.
Which businesses and cities do you serve?
We serve startups, freelancers, D2C brands, restaurants, manufacturers, non-profits and established companies across India. Most filings are central or online (MCA, GST, trademark, DGFT), so we can serve clients in any state, with state-specific handling where required.
Do you offer ongoing compliance, not just one-off filings?
Yes. Alongside one-time registrations we offer monthly and annual compliance plans covering GST returns, ROC filings, accounting and TDS, with deadline reminders so you never pay an avoidable late fee.
Pricing & Refunds
What does 'all-inclusive pricing' mean?
Every quote is itemised and transparent: our professional fee, plus government fees, plus applicable taxes. The price you see is the price you pay — there are no surprise add-ons revealed after you have committed.
Are government fees included in the price?
Government and statutory fees (such as MCA stamp duty, trademark government fees or FSSAI fees) are billed at actuals and never marked up. Where these vary by state or by your turnover/capital, we show them clearly as a separate line so the total stays honest.
What is the 'filed-on-time or refund' guarantee?
Every order ships with a written SLA timeline. If we miss the committed timeline for reasons within our control, you receive an automatic refund of our professional fee — with no three-month fine print. Delays caused by government processing or missing documents from your side are outside the SLA, and we always tell you upfront which timelines are committed.
Can I cancel a compliance subscription?
Yes. Compliance plans can be paused or cancelled anytime. You keep service through the period you have already paid for, and renewal pricing is stable and transparent — we do not spring surprise hikes on you at renewal.
Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?
If work has not yet started on your order, we refund our professional fee. Once a filing has been drafted or submitted to an authority, government fees and work already done are non-refundable, but the filed-on-time SLA still protects you against missed timelines.
Services
What do I need to register a Private Limited Company?
You need a minimum of 2 directors and 2 shareholders (the same people can be both), a registered office address in India with an owner's NOC, and PAN/Aadhaar and address proof for each director. There is no minimum paid-up capital requirement. Most incorporations complete in about 10–15 working days.
Who needs to register for GST and how long does it take?
GST registration is mandatory once turnover crosses ₹40 lakh (₹20 lakh for services, lower in special-category states), and for all inter-state suppliers and e-commerce sellers regardless of turnover. We typically file and obtain your GSTIN within 3–7 working days.
How long does trademark registration take?
We file your trademark application in 2–3 days after a clearance search, and you can use the ™ symbol immediately. Full registration by the Trade Marks Registry usually takes 12–18 months if there are no objections, after which you can use the ® symbol. If an examination report is raised, our attorneys can file the objection reply.
Can you handle licenses like FSSAI, MSME and IEC?
Yes. We assess and file the correct FSSAI tier (Basic, State or Central) for food businesses, register MSME/Udyam to unlock subsidies and concessions, and obtain an Import Export Code from DGFT for businesses trading internationally.
Do you help with ongoing ROC and annual compliance?
Yes. We handle mandatory annual filings for Private Limited Companies and LLPs — such as AOC-4, MGT-7, Form 8, Form 11 and DIR-3 KYC — and provide a compliance calendar so deadlines are never missed and penalties (₹100/day per form) are avoided.
Documents & Security
What documents will I need to provide?
It depends on the service, but most filings require KYC documents — PAN and Aadhaar of the applicants/directors, photographs, address proof, and business or registered-office proof with an NOC. For each order we give you an exact checklist upfront so nothing is missed.
Why do you need my PAN and Aadhaar?
PAN and Aadhaar are mandated by the authorities (MCA, GST, Income Tax, DGFT) for identity verification and to file in your name. We collect only what a given filing legally requires and use it solely for that purpose.
How is my data kept secure?
Documents are uploaded over an encrypted connection and shared only with the verified professional assigned to your order and your accountable case manager. We follow data-minimisation practices and handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
Who can see my documents?
Access is restricted to your assigned expert and your case manager on a need-to-know basis for completing your filing. We do not sell your data, and you can request deletion of documents that are no longer required for an active filing or legal record-keeping.

Yes. A single named case manager owns your order end to end, so you are never bounced between departments. There is a clear escalation ladder if anything stalls, and the expert performing the regulated work is coordinated through your case manager.
